Trip to Uyuni, Bolivia

From San Pedro I did a 4 day trip to Bolivia

This was our group including our guide and his family

Behind the laguna de verde (Green Lagoon) is this - for me nameless - vulcano again

The water seems to be green because of the minerals in the lagoon and with sunny weather you´re supposed to see the reflection of the nameless volcano in the Water.

Mh bad luck, not this day

Some dessert impressions...

San Pedro de Atacama

It took me a 24 hour bus ride, sitting next to a snoring stinking Chilean guy to come to San Pedro, but it was definitely worth it

The streets of San Pedro

Inglesia
San Pedro

Somewhere next to San Pedro

Valle de la muerte (Death Valley), with a Vulcano in the background, which might have a name too

Valle de la luna (Moon Valley)

This is my C
hilenian Uluru (Ayes Rock)

Santiago de Chile

I just love this entrance in my diary. By crossing the international date line its possible to arrive in Santiago before leaving Auckland

Plaza de Armas

View from the Cerro San Cristóbal over Santiago

The smog is quite normal

At least you could see the Andes this day

New Zealand

I had just one week time in New Zealand, so what should I do ?

Watch some foggy landscape.

go a little bit skiing,

watch some not that foggy landscape,

And do other stuff for which NZ is famous for.

Sorry mum, had to do one more of this money-burning-once-in-a-lifetime things.
Leaving NZ without a bungee, would have been like leaving Australia without visiting Uluru
(do you guys see any pictures of this Rock somewhere on this page??)

I think I look quite confident at this picture – I was anything but confident

Just to proof that the Kiwis are crazy about bungees
