Great Ocean Road

For our trip along the Great Ocean Road we hired a great van, it was cheaper than a hostel would have been and it looked just wicked.

The Great Ocean Road goes mainly like this along the South coast of Victoria

I did this trip together with Eugen, who lives not that far away from the place where I’ve grown up, but we met the first time at the hostel in Melbourne.

Somewhere between Torquay and Apollo Bay

At a Beach somewhere between Torquay and Apollo Bay

The lighthouse at Cape Ottawa

We missed a beautiful sunset at the 12 Apostles for about 3 bloody minutes

So it was time for a fabulous dinner

And we went to the 12 Apostles at sunrise again

Then it was time for breakfast, isn’t it again a nice spot for a brekkie

Just another view

While having a coffee, we thought a helicopter flight would be nice.

Ok it cost us as much as the van for 5 days, but we thought it is worth it.

I gave the last instructions to the pilot

then we took off

the red dot is the place where we stayed during the night and were we had our brekkie

Twelve Apostles…

London Bridge

Bay of Islands, from there we drove back to Melbourne
